Looking to do your part as an ocean activist? We can help!

At least twice a year, Seattle Dive Tours co-hosts annual underwater and topside clean ups at popular fishing piers, dive sites and other various locations. Join us in cleaning up marine debris from your favorite local beaches and leave the ocean a better place than what you found it in!

Underwater Clean Ups required a minimum of PADI Advanced Open Water (or other agency equivalent) due to the task loading and challenging nature of managing debris bags, fishing line, as well as navigating the dive site with your buddy. 

Debris bags, cutting tools and more may be provided depending on the event. Don't have a dive buddy? No worries! We'll partner you up with another single diver, or with SDT staff to ensure you can still take part!

Not a diver? We would be nowhere without our shore volunteers! By cleaning up the beach or top side of the clean up area, our shore volunteers prevent debris from entering the ocean at all. Certain clean ups may also offer the opportunity to sort, weigh and record the marine debris for reporting to local agencies!
