Richard began diving in 2004 with the intention of vacationing with friends and immediately became fascinated with the sport. Richard worked as a SSI Dive Control Specialist for several years, learning practical skills for diver certification and education, before becoming a PADI Instructor in 2010. Richard has extensive cold water diving experience, both locally and in places such as Iceland, Denmark, Sweden and Canada. Travel has also taken him to warm water locations in the Caribbean, Turkey, Thailand and the Philippines. Richard loves scuba photography and regularly teaches PADI Digital Underwater Photographer.
Richard actively participates in non-profit groups such as REEF and Diving for Life (DFL). Richard offers Emergency First Response (EFR) courses and dive training ranging from youth dive programs through professional level Divemaster programs. Chen grew up here in Seattle and considers our local dive sites home. Chen became a PADI Divemaster in 2012. When not leading dive tours or helping with scuba classes, Chen enjoys heading down to Mexico with his partner whenever possible to enjoy the warm water and abundant marine life near Cozumel.
Trained in the Northwest, Thomas is interested in underwater photography and learning about Pacific Northwest aquatic life.
